I
was born in Stockholm, Sweden in 1969 and began photographing
in my early teens. Since 2001 I have been a
part-time freelancer specializing in nature photography with
an emphasis on birds. I am also very interested in wildlife
biology as well as conservational issues and am well versed
in the scientific world.
Although
my main subjects are the wildlife and birds of Scandinavia,
I also travel extensively. From these trips I bring back images
and articles of a more travel oriented focus. When photographing
I always try to capture the subjects in new ways in order to
produce new and unique images.
All
the images you see on the website are available as fine art
prints where the slides are either drumscanned or scanned on
an Imacon scanner. Printing is done on an Epson large format
inkjet printer or on a Durst Epsilon photographic printer. This
creates prints of outstanding quality and longevity. The images
presented are just samples and
there are more than 20.000 images in my files. If you are in
the need of something not presented on this site, please do
not hesitate to contact me.
I
use Nikon equipment because they give an outstanding quality
and durability. For a quick review of what kind of equipment
I use you can look at the Equipment page which will continuously
be updated with short reviews of the equipment I use.
Recent
clients include Outdoor Photography and Birds Illustrated.
